1. Program Overview

The Thanks a Billion Referral Program (the “Program”) is offered by Community Savings Credit Union (“the Credit Union”) to reward existing members (“Referrers”) who refer new members (“Referees”) to the Credit Union. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, both the Referrer and Referee may be eligible to receive a one-time cash bonus.

2. Eligibility Criteria for referrers

· You must be an existing member of the Credit Union in good standing at the time of referral.

· You must be a resident of British Columbia and at least 19 years of age.

· The Referrer and Referee must not be a part of the same household

· Community Savings staff are not eligible.

· Each person must comply with CASL when making a referral. Without limiting the foregoing, a person must not refer anyone to the Credit Union unless the person who is making the referral has an Existing Business Relationship, an Existing Non-Business Relationship, a Family Relationship or a Personal Relationship with the person who is being referred to the Credit Union.

3. Eligibility Criteria for Referrees

· You must be a resident of British Columbia and at least 19 years of age.

· The Referrer and Referee must not be a part of the same household

New member approval

The new member must open a chequing account and set up a recurring automatic direct deposit of payroll within 90 days of opening the account.

4. Payment Terms

· The Referee will receive a one-time $100.00 credit once they set up a recurring automatic direct deposit of payroll within 90 days of opening the account.

· A bonus will be deposited into the Referrer chequing account within 90 days once the Referee’s account opening conditions are satisfied. If the automatic direct deposit of payroll is not active, no referral bonus is payable.

· The Referrer may refer multiple individuals

· The Referee will receive a one-time $100.00 credit once they set up a recurring automatic direct deposit of payroll within 90 days of opening the account.

5. Additional Conditions

The Referee must mention that they have been referred by the existing member (“Referrer”) for the offer to qualify.

6. Program Period

· This Program is available for referrals submitted between December 4, 2025 and January 31, 2026.

· The Credit Union reserves the right to modify, extend, or terminate the Program at any time without notice.

7. General Terms

This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions or cash back offers.

Community Savings reserves the right to refuse or terminate any Community Savings member’s participation in this referral bonus offer if Community Savings suspects or discovers that the member is abusing the proper and intended operation of the promotion. All decisions by the Credit Union regarding eligibility and referral bonus issuance are final.
